A few days ago, I emailed the hostel stating I was coming, as a polite reminder.  I heard back today with:

We therefore await you with joy.

Just to let you know that THERE HAS BEEN NO PERMANENT COOK IN THE HOUSE FOR MANY MONTHS

Therefore, it is the hospitaleros who are in charge of preparing dinner and breakfast.

My oh my!  Well, I have been trained on how to divvy up all the tasks for cooking, setting the table, and clean up for 30 people.  I might be looking at 60 people, if I get a full hostel.  Question is, who will the other host be?  I will find out on October 15th when I show up at the hostel to overlap with the outgoing host(s).  Will I be able to speak their language?
